On August 14th, 2015 we were joined by Reena Dayal Yadav, Chevening scholar from Oxford University who is also the Chairperson of SNIA India and an innovation expert, having been part of a top Indian IT corporation for over 2 decades. She addressed a gathering of construction industry experts on the concept of “Unleashing Your Innovative Potential”.
Being an expert in Innovation Management, Change Management and Integration, Reena conducted the workshop in association with Gallopper and Ambuja Foundations at the Ambuja Knowledge Centre in Andheri, Mumbai.
The workshop was well received by professionals and saw the active participation of all the attendees. Reena was very forthcoming in her approach and encouraged the involvement of all present. Eliminating boundaries and engaging the participants in empowering team building activities, she was able to integrate knowledge, skill and creativity to enhance team dynamics and challenge them to question standards and presumptions thus thinking “Out of the box”.
Highlighting the importance and the evolution of technology in construction studies, Reena was able to direct the concentration of the professionals towards innovation and development by chalking out the components of the construction ecosystem and the role each individual will play in its establishment.
Her interesting combination of slides, experiential learning exercises and games contributed towards a relaxed, fun environment in which knowledge sharing and learning could thrive.
Reena Dayal Yadav, is also an active member of Crisp Social Ventures India which is currently incubating a project titled PowerHouse to develop sustainable homes for the homeless in India.
